My name is Katy and I grew up in Reno, NV - a quirky place that fed my art obsession. I now reside in a sleepy ghost town in Northeastern Nevada and continue to be inspired by the vast deserts and wild landscapes around me,
I specialize in pet portraits, mountain lifestyle, and wildlife. Whether it's a furry friend or a mountain peak that means something to you, I'll bring it to life on paper.

All artwork consists of original designs by me and I work closely with my local print shop in Elko, NV to produce high quality print products.
About Line & Wash
Line and wash is a technique many refer to as ink and watercolor. I start most of my artwork with an ink drawing to get the general outline of my subject. Add a few layers of watercolor, and the subject springs to life! A popular technique among beginners and experts alike, it's one of my favorite ways to delve into the world of watercolor.

This technique has also allowed me to share my art in an interactive way. My black and white outlines can be purchased as Coloring Pages. Follow the lines and let your creativity blossom through watercolor.

Custom art has always been one of my passions. My portraits make the perfect gift for anyone. From pets to specific mountain faces, I've done a variety of commissions that bring joy to those who receive it.
